Open Question: Should I buy this Honda Accord EX 03?
a friend wants to sell me his 2003 honda accord coupe manual tranny. I test drove the car and it runs very well. Kbb value as well as asking price is 7000$ for that year and mileage. Now I would like to offer him a lower price because:

1. First owner had an accident which lists itself as:

“left front primarily damaged” ; vehicle hit a parked car, which is a medium sized accident. Of course, vehicle was not totaled.

2. 3 year after the first accident, my friend bought it. The 1st owner was in New Jersey, and it was shipped to TN and then to TX, where my friend bought it from.

3. My friend got rear ended twice. Only one shows up on carfax. Both times were minor damages.

4. The first owner put on 50,000 miles on 4 years, in NJ; my friend put in 40,000 miles in 2 years in TX (mainly highway)

Whats a good offer for this car, knowing that it is in really good condition, but has had the above experiences.

There is no frame damage on the car.

Resolved Question: How do I get out of a real estate contract when seller won’t repair what we want?
Hello all,

here is my situation. We found a house for sale in Missouri that we liked. We made an offer on the house. They accepted. We had the inspection done. We found 16 things that we wanted to repair. We asked them to repair those 16 things. They said they would only repair 11 of them, and 5 major big ones we would have to repair on my own.

Now in my mind that would mean the deal is done. We have now found a new home that we like more and want to buy. But my Realtor is saying that we have to wait 10 days (from when we submitted our offer) for the deal to die, because they buyer could still come back and say, fine we will fix all 16 items on the list.

I want out of the deal, because I like this other house much much more, and I am nervous that these 5 problems will compromise the structural integrity of the house. Any thoughts??
