Open Question: License to be a Home Inspector?
My father has been doing “informal” home inspections for years. He is a contractor who has been working in homes for over 30 years now. He actually specializes in old homes (ie:heating/plumbing/ventilation/foundations) My question is: if he wants to become an official Home Inspector in Connecticut, is there any way to get around taking classes or being an intern? it seems the only other option is if you have held a license in another state which he hasn’t. Any suggestions??
