Open Question: why does a buyer of a house need a building engineer?
a guy wants to buy my house i signed a contract with him.and he had a home inspector come out and inspect and the inspector said that the guy needs to have a building engineer come out and inspect the foundation.the guy wants to buy my house for $25,000 and the contract said “as is” deal.

Open Question: gounded or not grounded?
the home inspector told me the outside grounding wire from the main breaker panel is not grounded , it was cut above the ground. However, I found out later the side of the wire is clamped to a cable line goes into the ground, is this the right grounding?

Resolved Question: Electric breaker box with 100 amp service: how many breakers can I have?
If I have 100 amp service coming to my breaker box I only can have 6 15Amp breakers (100amps divided by 15 amp breakers) THAT does not make any sense …… Or I actually can have as many as box permits (for example my 100 amp box has 30 slots so I could have 30 breakers and one main one) Please answer if you know for sure ; ) you know its hard work and if township inspector will tell me that I have to do it again that will by sad…..

P.S. I don’t have a license but I have brain and years of experience in construction biz. Plus I’m motivated to do it right way because I’m wiring my home, so don’t worry about me doing hack job or getting shocked because I’m working safely.
I calculated that in all I will by using less then hundred amps.

 Firefox is starting to bug me; it seems so slow. Safari feels better but I can’t live without a keyboard shortcut to get to the Google search (CMD+k in FireFox). Can I do that in Safari somehow?
