Resolved Question: There was a cockroach in my bathroom, what are the chances there is (was) just one?
We have lived in our house since November, and I have never seen a bug before. We also had a home inspection with no sign of pest problems. Tonight I saw (and killed) a cockroach in my bathroom, which is upstairs, away from the kitchen and all of our windows are sealed. I have never seen a cockroach in any of my previous houses, and our house is very clean. Additionally, the outside temp of our house was 17 degrees today, and it hasn’t been warm for many months. My question is where did this come from, what are the chances there are more, and how do I get rid of them? Resolved Question: Non detection of termites with Pre-inspection?
We recently bought our first home, Sydney NSW. During the cooling off period we had a pest & building inspection carried out. The report came back ok especially in relation to any pests on property, such as termites. We had another pest company come in who advised that it was termite activity and they had been in garage for approx. 2years. He stated that it should have been found in pre-inspection as it was so obvious. So my question is, what do I do about it. Do I sue the previous inspection company or not? And if so,who is liable, as owners would have known, the real estate would have known, yet know one disclosed it. Or do I just let it go?
